You can make your Big Give Christmas Challenge donation here from 12 noon on Tuesday 28th November until 12 noon on Tuesday 5th December.
We’re very excited to let you know that Hope Gardens has been selected to participate in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2017, the UK’s largest match funding campaign. Last year, thanks to generous supporters like you, the campaign raised over £7.2 million for participating charities.
We will be raising money to build a life-saving Maternity and Child Care Unit above our existing Medical Centre in the Rhema Garden. Donations made to this project during the Christmas Challenge will be matched for 7 days from 12pm on 28th November, #GivingTuesday.
What happens during the Christmas Challenge?
Donations made to our project via theBigGive.org.uk will be doubled during the Christmas Challenge campaign. If you would like to support our work this year, we highly recommend doing so during the Christmas Challenge when your donation will be doubled and make even more of a difference to us.
The Christmas Challenge runs from 12 noon on Tuesday 28 November 2017 (Giving Tuesday) and closes at 12 noon on Tuesday 5 December. Donations made to Hope Gardens via theBigGive.org.uk will be doubled during the campaign, at no cost to you! We have already had £1,000 pledged in match funding from some of our generous supporters, plus an additional £1,000 available to us from The Reed Foundation, who have chosen Hope Gardens as one of their charities to champion during the Challenge. This means that if we raise £2,000 in donations, these will be doubled to an incredible £4,000 (excluding any gift aid that we are able to reclaim).
What do I need to do?
You can’t make a donation via theBigGive.org.uk until 12pm on 28th November - but what you can do is put a reminder in your diary so that you remember to make your donation when the challenge starts.
One last thing...
Finally, can we ask you to share details of our campaign with your family, friends and work colleagues and encourage them to make a donation to our project during this period too? We’ll be publicising details of the Challenge on our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) - we’ll be encouraging you to share or retweet our posts to help us spread details of our campaign as widely as possible.
With your help, we can really transform lives in India this Christmas.
