On Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving, we are launching our match funded 7 day appeal to raise £20,000 to support our after school clubs which are playing such a pivotal role in supporting children and families in our communities that we serve.

We are delighted that for every £1 you give (up to £10,000) our generous funders (The Together Fund and AS EA Lloyd Charitable Trust) will match that donation and give a further £1 to our appeal.

Why support Hope Gardens’ Appeal?

This year our focus is on our children in the community and supporting them with our after school clubs

Hope is having access to education:

“Last year you raised £18,000 which meant we could run all our clubs! Our clubs are so crucial for families. We enable children to have a safe space to come and play, a place to be supported in their learning while parents can work out in the plantations, on the construction sites or often in paddyfields

The £20,000 raised in our appeal will;

• operate and enhance our existing clubs in 2023

• support our new clubs in Devokottai and Uppokottai

• provide more spaces for children in our communities who are struggling with their learning and support them at our after school clubs

• provide more hot meals each month to children in our communities

• provide new sports equipment - cricket batts, cricket balls and footballs!
