Ruby’s Story
Ruby very sadly lost her husband, Bishop Simson Paul to pancreatic cancer in the spring. His passing was a huge shock and a great loss to his congregation. He leaves behind his wife Ruby and their two boys.
The burden of grief doesn’t seem to hold Ruby back though. She has thrown herself into church life and promised to continue the good work that she started with her husband. Since being widowed Ruby has taken upon more duties within her church and is supported with monthly visits from Archbishop & his Cumbum team.
Due to her experience, commitment & dedication to her congregation we are delighted that Ruby will be ordained. With her current training it is anticipated that Ruby will become a Deaconess in December
We hope to be able to gift Ruby a christmas present of a scooter so that she can carry out her Pastoral duties to the congregation.
